Whoa… didn’t realize it’s Friday the 13th…. weird.
Anyway, big thanks to Amando, he has sparked my frail & big ego into getting into better shape. I had been doing the interval training a few weeks back, but got sidetracked when I was home when Analise was first born. I’m back at it and trying to jog more than the elliptical. I feel like I’ve accomplished more on the treadmill b/c I’m winded and soaked after a 20min deal.
Excuses aside, earlier this week I was chatting with Amando and he mentioned that he was on his way to losing some serious weight and had some goals. Since I outweigh him by 2-3 tons, I have a bit more to lose….
However, I have vowed and publicly stressed (to my family and work teammates) that I have stopped drinking all DIET drinks and fried foods as of Tues, April 10th….
I could do a ‘cheat day’, but I’ve been doing cheat days for just a hair over 34years, so I think I’ll go with a full detox….
Now, I haven’t been eating 100% healthy, but removing the sodium from the diet pop and the fat from fried stuff should be a good jump point for me….
I’ll put it out there… I’m weighing 265lbs which is crazy overweight for my 5foot 8.99 inch height… OBESE REALLY… I’ve been sportin a 40″ waist for way too long…
my knees have been achy since we’ve moved into our new house b/c we have a full flight of stairs to our basement and near full flight to our masterbedroom….
So here’s my plan and goals. I think it would be reasonable to drop 10-15lbs within a 2month period and then 5lbs each month afterwards…. I think it all depends on how well I can balance diet, exercise, and rest….
So here’s 4day…. I’ve replaced diet pop with water and tea. And I’ve tried to avoid any sugar based lemonade. As for fried foods, well, just avoiding them altogether.
The results so far, I’m hitting the washrooom like it’s going out of style, but i’m also not feeling too sleepy after meals….
Off to lunch……
