10:38pm. I’ve been sorting through mp3’s to clean up all the duplicates and etc.
I won an 8gb iphone when we were in San Diego. The vendors at the conference I was attending were raffling off iphones, cash, and more iphones. HP was there as they are the new owners of Opsware and they were also raffling off hp cameras, printers, and iphones. luckily for me, the vendor whom i spoke to on and off remembered me. unfortunately at drawing time, my sloppy handwriting made my name look like Peggie and i can only imagine what ‘deanching’ may have looked like to him… Long story short, he remembered me and wanted to make things right. He went out, bought, and sent the 8gb iphone last week. Very cool.
I hope my company considers evaluating his software, but that’s out of my hands.
I do, however, really appreciate the cool iphone and more so, melissa does, b/c i gave it to her. i think my wife is a close-gadget geek, but she’d never admit to it.
Although, I’m a completely out of the closet new-tech toy-gotta get it now person, i didnt go out to get one of these iphones back in june, b/c i use a blackberry. i did go from a blackberry pearl to a blackberry curve in early june. i miss the pearl’s smaller formfactor, but i like the screen size better on the curve. typing on the curve is somewhat difficult b/c of my bigger thumbs, but i deal with it.
The iphone is really cool though. if my company were to allow non-blackberry devices to receive push mail, i’d probably switch. I won’t go all ape-sh*t about the features, other than it’s really neat. the interface of 2buttons and a touch screen is amazing.
anyway, i gotta workout. good night.
