The day before Thanksgiving, aka Black Wednesday…. followed by Thanksgiving and then Black Friday…. when everyone loses their mind to go shopping…. especially with the current state of the economy, everyone is trying to save some $.

We’re in chemo today….Ana wasn’t too happy to go today. Now we’re here, her port is accessed, she’s seen Dr Canner, and waiting for treatment. She’s playing with craft stuff with some other kids and her mood has lifted. Funny to see her be a little bossy to bigger kids and ask, ‘what’s your name’…
Happy Birthday to my dad. I’m sure we’ll be celebrating his weekend.

We’re getting more inventive (or desperate) and we’re putting her meds in her drinks now to make sure she takes them. Oh the agony of getting a kid to take medicine on a short term cycle is nothing compared to a 2x daily routine….

Oh yeah, tonight the Bears are in SF to play the 49ers. No comment.
Analise is back to not wanting to take her meds…it’s quite a task to trick her into taking her meds. They are all liquid, so at least we have a fighting chance to chance them down with her bottle or some water. We may have already used the ‘Sophia’s took her medicine’ trick too much and Analise doesnt fall for it anymore….
Hope she can get through this without too much trouble this week…. when she spits these meds up, we have to reload the syringes and try again….
