Of course, I decide to run the sprinklers last night, not knowing it was going to rain. How irritating. Luckily, we have a rain sensor so if it does start to rain during a cycle, the sprinklers stop.
Yesterday was p90x day 14, I elected to rest. Today is start of p90x week 3, day 15, chest & back and ab ripper x. I’m eating steadily through the day. I had a banana, almonds, quaker multigrain mini cinnamon sugar rice cake thingys, water, and carrots.
I’m going to knock out that workout later today.
Have a good day and God Bless!

Hey Reggie! Just checking in and am pleased to hear you are still working and navigating the P90X program. As it states, “your closer than you think!” But your still in the honeymoon state, LOL.
There will be ups and downs. It will be a test to see how you cope with them. Just being brutally honest with you.
Think about this when you have those days when you just don’t want to workout:
- it took me quite a few years to become 270 pounds, I deserve today to be a day of feeling healthier and deserve this workout. SO LET ME GET MY ASS OUT THERE AND WORKOUT!
- i must commitment and counteract the many years of not eating healthy and not sticking to a workout routine/lifestyle that I deserve.
- there are so many people with physical disabilities that WANT to workout and its a workout just for them to get out of bed, bath, dress and do the day to day things they NEED to do. SO WHATS MY EXCUSE FOR NOT WORKING OUT?
- rule of thumb, as long as you take in less healthy calories and burn more calories than you eat, the weight will take care of itself.
- sleep is critical in recovery, growth and metabolism. Ensure you get at least 6 to 7 hours minimally.
- appreciate what you HAVE done and don’t worry about what you haven’t done. Heck, your doing more now than what you’ve been doing in many years. KEEP IT UP!
- commit to yourself.
- look in the mirror and not only look at your physical being, look at who you are inside. be honest with yourself.
- fact is, the diet doesn’t fail, the workout doesn’t fail, the REAL workout and hardwork is within our heart/soul and the space between our ears. To be mentally and spiritually strong and tough will lead to success.
- don’t get hook up on the numbers, weight, days, reps, etc…. as long as you look forward and start feeling better and healthier you are achieving your goals. a wall is made one brick at a time over the course of time.
You MUST be your best and greatest FAN! I think you have all the support around you in your wife, family and friends.
So “GET RIGHT!” for yourself and the ones who truly love you will reap the benefits.
Stay the course!
BTW – I am still with the P90X program and still making much progress. On the 7th month, at 176 lbs from 210. My goal is 165/170 then maintenance and staying with this lifestyle. I AM NOT GOING TO LET ALL THIS WORK GO OUT THE WINDOW. -LOL, ttyl
