Last night, I skipped over to the gym after work to do my p90x day 15 workout, chest & back and ab ripper x. It was a good workout and I want to say hello to Lori whom I met in one of the side workout rooms. While I was going to do dive-bombers, she had her laptop out doing ab ripper x. I couldn’t help but go over there and strike a conversation to find out how the p90x workout was working for her. She told me that she dropped 17lbs and was down to 11% bodyfat. Thanks for the advice on pullups and her spinach meals. She’s in incredible shape and nothing like a 52yr old woman. I believe she competes in fitness competitions, so she already knows how to train. It’s nice to see that this p90x program can appeal and be effective even to those who are already in good shape., She’s already bought and ready to get into the p90x PLUS workout. Simply amazing. It’s always exciting to hear people’s testimony firsthand. Thank you to Wes, whom I met via facebook yesterday, who also is going into his 2nd round of the p90x training.
After the workout, I headed out to our subdivision’s softball practice. It was nice to see everyone out last night and to meet many others from around the subdivision.
After chatting with our neighbors, we came in and ate dinner. Melissa made a pork loin which she chopped up, added some salad, some A1 sauce, and wrapped it in a multigrain tortilla. Doesn’t sound like much, but it filled me up! That alongside a few big glasses of water. Then for dessert, some peaches and cottage cheese… I will admit that a little later, I did have some multigrain tostitos with melissa’s homemade salsa (made with black beans, cilantro, corn, onions, tomatos, and other stuff i cannot remember)…
Today, I woke up and really didnt want to do the p90x 16, plyometrics workout, but as the ab ripper x dvd says… I HATE it, but I LOVE it…. It’s always a comfortable 70degrees or less in our basement and today, shirtless, I was actually very cold. After I pushed play and began the Plyometrics workout, I started a steady sweat for the next 1hr…. when I was done, I was drenched and tired tired tired. Incredible. I paced myself and made sure to put one of my rubber workout mats under me, b/c all this jumping is horrible on my knees…. I’m sure the 267lbs of bouncing fat filipino doesnt help, but that’s a work in progress. As Tony Horton says, I’ll do my best and forget the rest… It’s almost like a mantra of thinking positively and etc, but that’s the only way I can keep myself motivated…and it works!
Back to work, have a good day, and God Bless!

Keep up the great work! I found some website that had the p90 schedule posted in PDF format, so I have that now. Now I have to start. I hope i still have the bootleg DVD’s somewhere. Time to clean out the kitchen cabinets anyway! Take care!
